Getfitter.com's free Get started fitness assessment has been devised using the most powerful, proven methods, to give us a good indication of your current levels of fitness, flexibility and coordination.
We will take you, step by step, in the comfort of your own home, through an integrated set of strength, aerobic, core stability and flexibility tests. These tests have been used many times to successfully assess people of all ages and ability.
The start of the fitness assessment features a warm-up to raise your heart rate and mobilize your joints. From there, we go on to test your fitness levels using a classic, functional movement pattern. In the next section, we focus on your upper and lower body strength, as well as looking at the strength and control of your postural and stabilizing muscles through varying ranges of motion. We then round the session off by testing your core stability and flexibility. The results of this assessment enable us to put together your personal training program.
